Please scroll down for more pictures. This is an excellent scratch built model of Captain Mountbatten's destroyer HMS Kelly lost in action off Malta in May 1941. It is also good enough to be used for a display model if you do not wish to use it for radio control. The hull is made from fibreglass and superstructure from thick plastic sheeting.
There is plenty of fine detail on the model. A bollard is missing on the port side by the second gun turet. This has been a radio controled model. All the servos have been removed previously and will need to be reinstated. She has a weight added to the bottom of the hull under the bridge.
This model is ideal for display in the glass case or for use on the water. Display case Size is 130 L x 23 W x 50cm H. Scale is approximately 1:90. A wonderful item for your collection.
